Put the same IPTV line into a player on your phone. Stand where the TV box sits and play the channel that was breaking up — first over your own Wi-Fi, then again with Wi-Fi turned off and the phone on mobile data. Two minutes each. That is the whole test, and you do not need anything from this site to run it.
Two runs rather than one, because that is what isolates the network. Between them the phone, the app, the decoder, the credentials and the channel are all identical, and the only thing that changes is the connection. Jumping straight from the TV box to a phone changes far more than that — a different device, player, decoder and operating system — and the box is itself one of the suspects, so a clean picture on the phone alone does not convict your Wi-Fi. The two runs together tell you which side of the problem you are on, and that is the thing almost nobody establishes before they start changing buffer sizes.
The mobile-data run is the one that costs you: a stream at 8 Mbps is about 1 MB a second, so two minutes is around 120 MB. Fine on almost any plan; an evening of it is not.

What your result means
Clean on the phone over Wi-Fi, still breaking up on the TV. Your network carried the stream, so the fault is the box or its player — its decoder, its buffer, or a box too slow for that bitrate. Start with what the buffer actually does, then confirm it with the cable test.
Bad on the phone over Wi-Fi, clean on mobile data. The fault is inside your house — your Wi-Fi, your router, your cabling. Nothing your provider changes on their side will fix it, though a lower-bitrate version of the same channel is a workaround. Start with Wi-Fi, Ethernet and the number that actually matters, then run the remaining tests in the buffering guide.
Just as bad on both phone runs. The fault is upstream — the path, the server, or your account. Two things can still make it look upstream when it is not: a dead single channel, and an exhausted connection limit. Rule those out with test 2 and test 3, then use the connection guide to read what your line is actually reporting, and send the report.
It would not connect on either. That is not a buffering problem at all. Go straight to IPTV won't connect: read the error before you change anything.
Worse on mobile data than on Wi-Fi. Do not conclude anything yet. Retest somewhere with a strong cell signal — a weak signal invalidates the comparison.

The short version of the five guides

The three values are host (including its port), username and password. Some apps want http://host:port in one field, some want the hostname and the port separately, some branded apps want a code word instead. Use exactly what your provider sent — see the three values, and where they come from.
Three endpoints sit on that same host, behind the same credentials: player_api.php for account status, get.php for the playlist, xmltv.php for the TV guide. They fail independently, which is why a perfect picture tells you nothing about an empty guide — see what your player is actually calling.
Bitrate, not resolution, is what your connection has to carry, and a "4K" label in a channel name says nothing about it — see bitrate versus resolution.
2.4 GHz is short of space rather than signal, so full bars can still mean an unusable stream: bars measure signal strength, not free airtime — see 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and why full bars mean nothing.
A stall is the decoder finding an empty queue, and a larger pre-roll postpones that rather than preventing it whenever your path is simply short of the bitrate — see the drain is arithmetic.
What you won't find here
No ranked provider lists. No scores, no review counts, no testimonials, no "top 10". If a test shows the fault is on your provider's side, the guide tells you to report it — not to go and buy a different subscription, which fixes nothing you have diagnosed.
These guides contain no channel lists, no credentials, no playlists, and no way to obtain any. Every step assumes a subscription the reader already bought and is trying to make work.
